PROFESSIONALLY
An experienced Design Director and UI/UX designer, who’s adept at designing and driving the latest design trends with a high aptitude in problem solving, communication, critical thinking and building long lasting trusted relationships with clients. All while having fun doing it! It's not just a job, it's a passion.
For 15+ years, I have a proven track record of leading teams and being hands-on in designing groundbreaking digital experiences across multiple industries from automotive, healthcare, tech and distilling to mortgaging for mid-sized to Fortune 2000 companies including: Stellantis (Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, RAM, Alfa Romeo, Maserati and Fiat), General Motors, BCBSM, HAP, AmeriSave Mortgage and more.
....and in the last 5 years I have architected brand designs and designed bottles in the distilling/liquor industry for multiple products with a team that creates omni-channel design materials supporting all UX/UI design, print, out of home, social media, product design and video production.
On projects, you'll see me collaborating with marketing, product delivery, development leads, stakeholders, vendors and freelancers to negotiate budgets, and maintain mutually beneficial relationships that create and deliver fluent, concise, pixel-perfect designs as well as striking brands that meet the needs and expectations of clients and users.

Being creative is my life and problem solving is in my DNA.
"Mike is a foodie and chef at heart with a fine wine and Jazzy sole. He gives the shirt off his back for family and loved ones." - Bob Benyas (Life long friend)
I always get, "You look familiar, do I know you?" I have many doppelgangers! lol!
If I'm not working, you'll find me: working out, playing racquetball, taking long walks, by a body of water, spending time with family and friends, cooking, trying new restaurants, enjoying a good wine, craft beer or a bourbon... and maybe playing some video games.
